I was exaggerating, but you never know with Hip-Hop artists, man.

I think the most valuable thing for the "GOATs" and other popular artists to do for this genre is to Rap until their very last day.

That way it'll finally put the stigma to rest that Hip-Hop was a "fad" etc.

It'll add so much to the culture if people like Jay, Nas, etc. just say fukk it and Rap into old age. Yeah it's a tough pill to swallow because a majority of us are hardwired to rebel against our elders and old people in general, but if you got the skill and can still wow some heads with your talent at 80 years old, why not? These guys are all about being the first to do certain shyt, right? I can see it happening.

Part of me wants to see artists like Jay, Nas, etc. continue to lyrically put their lives into perspective and part of me wants them same old dudes to shut up. :pachaha: :manny: That's just how a majority of us are wired.

The benefit to the culture would be tremendous though, as well as interesting, to see if an artist can remain lyrically sharp into those late years of their lives. It's going to eventually happen whether we like it or not. Jay is the current front runner.

I can see nas staying sharp forever

Might already be over for Jay though lol
