I wonder how he got them

I don’t think NaS owns any of his songs ...

Who ever gets those masters and publishing will eat for years!!!!:ahh:

Shoot at this point it could be a triple album with nothing but heat :damn:

1). Nas owns his own publishing and has from Day 1.

2). When Nas helped reform Mass Appeal and relaunched it as a Record Label (of which he is co-owner) they signed a distribution deal under Sony, which was formally Columbia, meaning Nas in all essence is working back with his original label, which would give him access to his previous recordings.

:ohhh:

This is more official than any of the previous rumors. This literally is like he's shooting the album cover and that cracked up tape is gonna be on it. As for the potential Tracklist, again what made the original "Lost Tapes" work so well is it featured a lot of "I am " and "STILLmatic" outtakes. It's gonna be interesting to see what songs he chooses. I'm just gonna be happy to get some CDQ of a lot of these songs because NaS's vault is crazy. Ill never forget 2002. We got "Lost Tapes" in Sept and then a few months later we got "God's Son" the same year.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd rather listen to them Griselda nikkas over Nas. That last album from Nas was absolute garbage.

Yeah I remember back in the day. Supposedly Def Jam wanted him to work on a full LP and not a compilation at that time. I guess "Life is Good" came of that so it worked out. It's crazy we've been waiting for this for over 15 years. So many rumors of it coming then cancelled. To see that cracked tape was dope. LOL @ LTII becoming "Detox" of Compilations, lol. Us longtime NaS fans knows the music is there in the vault, it's just a matter of what tracklist he chooses. I think NaS should do what he did last time in 2002. "Lost Tapes II" first and have a brand new LP ready soon after for the Winter or early 2020.
