Still hasn’t left my rotation
Album didn’t get nearly the attention it deserved in the media, a true masterpiece and milestone in Nas’s career. Some of his best verses are on this album imo.

Life is good is redundant because he hits on all of those topics and themes throughout the album. I see why he left it on the cutting room floor because he said all of that and said it better throughout that entire album.

It's cool. But I get why he left it off. An album is one collective body of work, or at least they were lol. When you're telling a story from beginning to end, you cut scenes that aren't needed or have already been done. That's a scene already there so I get why its not on the album

Oh I see, I love Life is Good as well minus that Summer On Smash record but I never got that hate for that record.
As for Lost Tapes 2 it had some dope records on there but as a whole body of work it was just a compilation of random songs imo so I can't really say it was great but it was cool for what it was. I don't really go back to it much but maybe I should some time this week.
