Rick James doc makes so much sense. We all figured they'd do another rap doc next but it would be hard to top the Wu one in terms of scope with anyone else in rap (assuming you didn't go the tired Pac/Biggie route). Lot more "bigger than life/genre" people in rock and funk to do docs on...especially ones who haven't really been explored much like Rick James.
After the Rick James doc they should do a LL one, so we can finally get a Nas x LL song :myman:

"Vernon Family" sounds like no other Neptunes/Pharrell beat ever. It reminds me of a jazzier version of Game's "Higher".

"No Bad Energy" is :banderas:

"Lost Freestyle"

"Adult Film"

"Who Are You"--- still relevant and worthy of being a great single

Some songs are skippable, but this is one of Nas's best produced projects.

Now that you mention it. :ohhh:

It's just sloppy in spots, I peep it too and I'm a stan. He still got a crazy ass flow, and different kinds of flows he uses, but there's one particular one that just be sounding too messy, real novice sounding. He tries to be a super duper rhymer and word juggler and its just too much, his lack of breath control doesn't allow it to sound clean.
If I said this...

Nevermind lol
