This bullshyt narrative of Salaam giving Nas trash beats needs to die.

Salaam has laced Nas with HEAT since as far back as Stillmatic

You can’t with a straight face say that

What Goes Around
Get Down
Made You Look
I Can
Thief’s Theme
Bridging The Gap
Where Ya’ll At
You Can’t Stop Us Now
Nasty
Queens Story
The Don
Cherry Wine
Bye Baby

Are trash beats.

The only reason people hate on Salaam is Jay stans.

They push the narrative that Nas has no ear for beats. Aka reaching. Which is, completely untrue and ironic considering Jays albums are chock full of HORRIBLE production all through his catalog.

Salaam made one wack beat which was Zone Out. But even then we still got the legendary quotable House In Virginia. But Jay stans take that and say Salaam is wack and Nas has no ear for beats all the sudden.

They reach so hard to find a hole in Nas armor, but there’s not much. So they cling to this BS.

I remember walking into Best Buy and seeing Lose Tapes and having never heard of it before.

This is as close to that as there's gonna be in the digital age.

is there even an album title for this yet?

Im still cautious about this album

When Kanye went back in the studio after the TMZ rant, his album and the Nas were the two that were far from done. We saw Ye how turned out (I thought it was ok) wasnt as cohesive as Kids See Ghost and Daytona which were already done.
Secondly much like Kanye and his rants I wonder if there is going to be some pre-disposed hate cause of the Kelis abuse allegations. Like you can see Shea butter and SJW twitter and writer already with their "is this problematic to support" narrative in all reviews or boycotts.

And to the point, given how recent she said this and he has gone back to record with ye, will that be the narrative of the album? And if it is will people embrace it? Or will they think its poor form? And if he doesnt will some criticise him for not?

Weirdly enough for the first time, it aint the beats Im worried about, its more Nas state recording with everything. Is he used to recording something so quick? (Though he does carry and re-use rhymes on tracks that were unreleased). His rhyming has been on point for years but I guess some people feel unsure with his stuff in recent years (The Future joint this year, Travis Scott last year). Whats gonna be his mindset and motivation heading into the booth?

So Im a bit concerned with this cause it was still recorded in the last month and might still be recorded and I dont know if Nas does rushed records

Nas doesn't do rushed albums but he has 7 tracks he can dismantle for Kanye to rebuild. If it was just Nas, then I wouldn't believe it but with Ye pushing the project, it's happening. Ye won't sleep until it's done.
