Excellent documentary. For anybody thinking they “glorified” the lifestyle part 3 really puts the consequences they all faced into perspective. Prince been in prison for THIRTY TWO YEARS! Supreme will likely NEVER be a free man again. Two of his top generals did 19 and 30 years respectively. His close friend was killed over some stupid street beef. Preme had a chance to go legit and turned it down over pride and ego, squandering his second chance and what could have been a promising movie career. Every single one of the living members of the Preme team they interviewed expressed remorse over the life they led and how their actions ultimately contributed to destruction of the very community they loved.

There was NOTHING glorifying about this documentary. Nas and his producers did an excellent job; he’s two for two as a director and 3/3 as a producer (the Smoke documentary from last year was great too)
they glossed right over all the people killed,.
Makes these dudes look like good guys who were only about the numbers

They're low key trying to paint Supreme and them as victims

I gotta cosign this and I really liked the doc too. It's clear this is supreme team propaganda to remind everyone of their glory days. I'm not surprised though because Nas idolizes hustlers.

You're right.
The documentary didn't necessarily glorify the Supreme team, but it damn sure didn't make them look bad either.

Watched it last night the doc tips the line.

At the end it’s a campaign for Prince release. I thought about it its kinda distasteful to use that kids death at the hands of police 50 years ago as a justification or some type of turning point that led him to a life of crime give me a break.

I enjoyed the documentary tho shyt was dope well done.

And these dudes were black solid middle class, quintessential Queens stock they went into Baisley an impoverished projects and flooded that shyt. They really could have been lawyers or movie directors or whatever they wanted to be as stated in the doc.

Living out in Long Island and the quiet suburban Southeast Queens blocks while others was living in hell. :wow:
