This isnt the album Nas has been working on. It's his Def Jam fulfillment album. Ironic that as I'm typing this someone drove past bumpin Nas Is Like out they whip. LolAdam & Eve and Bonjour are dope to me. Everything has piff verses but the Kanye hook is too long to listen through so I end up skipping. Not For The Radio is solid, Cop Shot The Kid is cool but the sample ends up annoying me. Overall, man, after waiting like 6 years, I was hoping for more. ESP since, let's be real, we know we not getting another album from Nas anytime soon.
Still, least we got Adam and Eve right....right???

Fam I been telling cats on here that this ain't the album since Nasir came out. That Nas released this as Def Jam fulfillment. Nas just officially signed to his own label. He's released his official album on that label. Then Nas announced this himself last month. So did Swizz Beatz. But We'll see fam.
He had that interview with Angie Martinez and said that he work with Swizz and Rza for the other album. He also mention a lost tapes 2 in the past. Now that he has his own label I expect more material in the future.
The rapping on "Kamikaze" is 10x better than the rapping on "Nasir" broSimple things, everything, bonjour verses all dope.

I am a fukking Nas stan, I am just incapable of being biased, it's all objectivity over here with everything. That album was trash because his pen was dumb lazy and the flows were zzzzzz, like he wasnt even trying

Nas is entitled to a weak ass album here and there, he has like 6 or 7 good to excellent albums, it's all good. This dumb ass wack ass album didnt effect my son's GOAT status at all, I dont even really consider it an album like that

the problem is eminem for years now is rapping like a robot, technically he's impressive (when he don't shout or doing accents or rapping too fast) but there's zero soul there. nas moves us by his voice and delivery, even when he's not that dynamic. And I thnik nasir production is not 100% fit for his style. I think he did the album in just one week, which explain why he's not godlike like he use too. But he still dope on that album

I heard one new Em track (the title track) and its atrocious. He can still flow at times but the delivery and lyrics are trash. Not to mention the worst beat I heard this year. Tired of corny stans pretending like rapping fast=rapping good. Go listen to Black Thought and then tell me Em is a rap god lmao.
Nas' flow is off at times on Nasir but he didn't fall off nearly as bad as Em who is straight up trash now. Adam & Eve proves he can still do it, over the right sounds. I really think up tempo beats inspire Nas to go hard, whereas lower tempo stuff can result in some middling stuff.
