Don't hold my word to it but there was a new song that dropped on primo's headquarters show on shade45 that was played on Tuesday that may be the album cut. Nas sounded like Capone from CNN too. His voice changed like he sounds kind of whiney. It may be from a collabo or an unfinished record. The beat was boom bap too. Not a trap record. I know this because I heard it with my own two ears.

Nas has never really been a singles artist but not one snippet or song to build suspense? I’m not hopeful especially with Ye tweaking lately.

We'll probably get snippets a few days before the album like Pusha's, but with Nas it might just drop out of the ether :troll:

Nas has said previously he’s looking to do something different with this album. Dropping it wit Kanye as a producer and out of the blue with no singles is certainly different and unexpected

Is Nas a tier one artist in 2018? From a strictly sales/promo perspective, not talking about talent or quality.

Absolutely. New albums push like 20k at best first week. Guarantee Nas easily outsells that if he drops an album. Tours gross millions every time he goes out. No new chumps are even in the same league.

Hope you guys are ready for June 11th-13th, during which Elliott Wilson, Peter Rosenberg, Diddy, and other insiders will start saying this is Nas' best album in x amount of years, it might be a classic, etc etc. Because that's clearly the gameplan, based on this Pusha roll out.

How do you get that based on the bolded?

I'm all in. Sold.
:yeshrug:

I remember saying this ages ago: Kanye is a Nas stan. I remember ages ago hearing Kanye geek out about how dope Silent Murder was lmao. He knows what Nas sounds good over. I've posted this many times on the Coli but once again, listen to how he talks about Nas and We Major (Hov's favorite track on Late Registration lmao):

There's something about...Nas and horns. Nas and hard drums. Nas and moody basslines. And Kanye is a good enough producer to do it in such a way that it doesn't feel dated or whatever.

Do I wish it was say...10 tracks instead of 7? Yea. But if these tracks are as good as they could potentially be...it's gonna be an amazing album.

I'm ready. This album gonna have me at Best Buy ready to smack nikkas like Maino:whew:

If they both deliver and do what they supposed to do, instant classic
