Nasir, to me, doesn't have a single song as good as the best from I Am, or Nastradamus, not even closer.

NY State Of Mind 2, Hate Me Now, Undying Love, Nas is Like, Life We Chose, Project Windows, Family,

I agree (except Family and maybe life we chose) but at the same time Nasir doesn't have any song as bad as "K.i.s.s.i.n.g", "Nastradamus", and "New world" either

I always like Kissing, though the third verse, and song in general doesn't play very well in a more aware climate. Nastradamus is just a nostalgic pleasure, while may not be technically as good as much on Nasir, I probably enjoy more. Nasir just isn't something I care for, Nas doesn't seem focused, or even engaged, he coasts through the album, for the most part.

On one hand I respect you for ranking It Was Written with an A but the rest of the list is

Granted, it's obly 7 tracks, but you really think Nastradamus and StreetsDisciple is better than this album? To me, Adam and Eve and Bon Jour is as good as the highs from those albums and thelows from Nasir are nowhere near as cringe worthy as from those albums. Scarlet?? Big Girl?? Those are negative points IMO.

this sounds so much better than the original version
my problems with "Kissing" was the weak hook and the beat that he took from a very recent R-Kelly hit.

took me a few spins to dig Bonjour due to the slower tempo but still album is Flames.

4.5 out of 5 Da Gawd still flowing crisp. A few mishaps on the beats some samples are too loud over nas’s voice.
Still its Nas and ye flames.

Bonjour has grown on me too. I still hate the fact that I gotta adjust the volume when it comes on due to Nas' vocals being mixed too loud.

Album is still on repeat.

In all of Nas' albums, his intros have always been one of my favorite tracks. Not for Radio is pretty much like an intro with Puff ad libbing. Good tone setter.

and I dont even think NASIR is all that but its better than redemption. redemption is subpar even to a album thats was mediocre/to just ok itself in 90059
