The way they’re starting and ending albums is crazy, you can def sense they actually make shyt while thinking where it should go on an album. No random shyt. And this might be the best intro and outro they’ve done.
The beat on Speechless almost made me run outside and hop in the whip at midnight. Just drive around, streetlights busting holes in the dark (shoutouts to Mos). It sounds ominous and dark. Then Dedicated man…what else is there to say. It’s crazy, you can tell Hit Boy studied Nas albums. That new jack to 90s r&b vibe from Bye Baby sounded so good on Life Is Good. I remember at the time saying I wanted to hear Nas with Drake’s producers and it came true there. But anyway since then we’ve gotten No Phony Love and now Dedicated with similar vibes beat wise. Just sounds dope with Nas’ voice.
