Listened to the first half of this while I was running errands just now, and yeah - I'm about ready to stop having conversations about Nas unless the phrase 'GOAT' is also included.

I first discovered this dude in my mid teens off a Columbia Records sampler before Halftime was even on the 'Zebrahead' soundtrack, and now I'm in my early 40's and he's still doing it on this level?

Dope album, I’d put this under kd1 and it’s def better than 2. Nas rapping on here is so immaculate that I damn near zone out the beat just to catch what he’s saying. This maybe an unpopular opinion but on this 3 album these two doods have been having, it sounds like hitboy has been trying to keep up with nas sonically. I think his drums are perfect for nas but what he does with his samples is super hit or miss. Standing next to a vet that’s been putting on a master class at rapping he still has some growing to do.

Not at all. I'm not impressed at all by this album. It's nowhere near his top work. Even his later records, Life is good, Kings disease 2,are significantly better.

His flows that people are celebrating, pale in comparison to Pac, biggie, Jay, snoop, (prime) 50, dmx etc.

I would not say better but different. if you like grown man, cigar+whisky nas, the kd's will be better, if you like street, spittin nas, this one will be better.
