Yall gon keep crying about reviews from a platforms you keep saying you dont care about. Its been fukk Pitchfork for a while now but here we are…yet again….
I don’t even know why they read it. Lol. They already know what they gonna get. I do wish Nas would just tell Pitchfork to get off his dikk one time on wax tho. Lol

Also called the Kings Disease series Joyless Grammy bait lol This white boy was so heated writing this review I bet steam was coming from his pen.

I'm not going to give them the click and read the review, but what the hell does that even mean? Joyless Grammy bait like he had discovered some secret way to finally win a Grammy after all these years? What utter nonsense. And what was joyless about songs like Ultra Black, Rare, Nobody, and so on?

It doesn’t matter bruh. Why try to rationalize the irrational. For whatever reason that site gets off in shytting on Nas.

I think it's all entertainment at this point. It just reconfirms what we already knew. I would like to know the deeper reason as to why publications do nas like that though.

Have yall ever met a fan of Peter Rosenberg? Off that, have you ever met anyone who respects/values Peter Rosenberg's opinion? I guarantee you have not...so why do yall get so worked up about these reviews from these powerless, corny ass people?

The overwhelming consensus is "Magic" is straight fire and Nas's best album in decades...stop caring so much about what damn near voiceless people have to say and why they're saying it,. Your reaction gives them way more power than they actually have.

If Charlamagne went on his syndicated radio show and shytted on Magic then I'd understand why Nas fans would feel a way, he has a huge platform(s) and is a prominent, semi-respected voice in hip hop. Yall get heated about reviews that literally no one who isn't on a hip hop message board, most likely, will ever even hear about. Lol, I don't know 1 person in real life who knows what pitchfork is.

I cannot WAIT for the brehs on According 2 Hip Hop to roast this a$$hole.

Kings Disease 2 is one of Nas’s most celebratory albums. The album literally ENDS with a song called Nas Is Good!

And you can accuse Nas of a lot of things if you want, but chasing awards is NOT one of them and never has been.

TBH the Pitchfork review wasn't that bad compared to KD1 and 2 and they're stingy with the ratings even with the guys they like. The section about Hit-Boy's beats sounded like a way harsher version of what I was saying.

Edit: Spoke too soon, that last section was spiteful as fukk and exposed the conceit for the entire review :mjlol:

You just have to . It’s a 6.8 and it sounds like a compliment but again read what’s being said here. It’s got weird vindictive parts with a familiar writer.

If there was any doubt about how weird writers are about Nas this is it. It’s like he made an album so good they gotta lean in more to critique

6.8 for Magic, very close to the 6.9 they gave The Lost Tapes, must mean it's a classic
