I might agree with this if wasn't for Lost Tapes.

There is no song on any of the Hit Boy albums as bad as Braveheart Party or The Cross
I dunno who told Eminem he was a great producer but whoever it was I hate em:snoop:

he ruined an entire 2pac album too:scusthov:

But the highs on those albums are on a level that none of these albums have achieved. Those shyts have top 10-20 Nas songs on em you can accept Braveheart Party when Stillmatic intro, You're the Man, Rewind, One Mic, What Goes Around, Ether ect... :wow:

unpopular opinion but I think this 3 album Hit Boy run been better since his second coming Stillmatic, Lost Tapes, Gods Son run.

the highs from the Stillmatic run was higher but the Hit Boy albums been more consistent...

I'm not mad at this opinion...if we're looking at it just from a production standpoint the Hit-Boy era is probably more consistent. Where it's debatable is Nas overall performances. Lost Tapes still my favorite album out of this era and that era.

This album for the dusty boom bap heads that want Illmatic Part 4

Not at all. It leans in that direction, but, between Nas all but trolling us, and Hit-Boy just not having that sound, it isnt. He's rapping like a man possessed, but Hit-Boy just doesn't sound like that. It's not even a dis. He just doesn't.

The Hell On Earth 2 beat, which is a White chick doing her best Havoc impersonation, sounds harder than all his shyt. THAT'S shyt for us dusty Boom Bap heads lol.

Dope album….

Nas has always been an elite lyricist with ok to bad beats. Now Nas is a good lyricist with good beats. Ill take that exchange.

impressive chemistry him and hit boy have. Do it till the wheels fall off.

“Lyrics dont mean nothin if the beat aint crackin and knees be smackin / thats why the Gz keep stackin” - DJ Quik

Too many Vlad interviews for you, Nas has rapped over some of the craziest beats ever in his early career. That's why people complain. His first three albums have all sorts of retarded heat rocks on them.

Rep for reminding me about Georgia Anne Muldrow, but nah Hit-boy is more versatile, Madlib is one of my faves also, but he ain’t Dilla level of genius, Hit boy is right up there with him all round And like I said more varied with the amount of genres and different artists he can produce good work for,
