Let this ride for a few days before I made up my mind and I like it more every listen. Just strong all around. Love the lack of skips and features... Good hooks, good sequencing, good beats, good verses. Good energy in his delivery.

These albums the best thing to come out the pandemic. KD3 is gonna be >>>. They’re gonna raise the bar again. Watch.

Yeah with the way they keep raising the bar with each album the next one is about to be insane. Nas said Magic was just to build buzz and, I mean, goddamn does it build the buzz something crazy. August 2022, save that date.

Whole album is straight up hypnotic, these songs put me into trances. All the beats stuck in my head lol...

the “27 club” bars right at the start? I don’t think that’s homage to anyone and Nas been doing that same Broken Language style for a long time, he just never stretched it out over a whole 16 it was usually only for a couple of bars.

Still digesting but this is a real nice surprise. Nas just out here creating and releasing for the love of it. Going fully independent then linking up with Hit-Boy one of the best things that ever happened to him. Cut out all the BS.

That's what these dudes complaining about the partnership don't understand. Obvious they're locked in, speaking the same language and can just go create without any nonsense, scheduling conflicts, whatever. If the Premier album ever does happen, these crabs still gonna find something to complain about cuz that's what they do

Magic is probably the closest thing we ever gonna get to another Illmatic. It’s not better than Illmatic but the way it’s structured, 9 songs, 1 guest appearance, no attempts at a radio/club/love song, boom bap production side from 2 songs and Nas is rapping carefree with no pressure.

I don’t wanna hear a Premo/Pete Rock produced album with Nas in 2022. Much respect to them producers, they’re legends (Although Pete is a notorious hater and always seem bitter) but Hit Boy is a better producer at this stage than the both of them and that’s just the cold hard truth.

I don’t think either one of them has a beat like Speechless in the tuck right now…that beat is ridiculous

There’s not many producers that’s doing it as good as Hit. Nas made a great choice working with Hit Boy that kept his legacy from being tarnished after that Nasir debacle.
