It's almost criminal how long it took nas to find a producer that could actually match his talent.

This shyt like a 2nd coming for nas. Somewhere he got to be kicking himself for wasting all those years with salaam remi lol

Btw this shyt sounds incredible

Nas just running up the score at this point on the argument of who is goat.

You're absolutely right, about being in NY to be king. I misread a Lil and made that mistake. With that said, after Jay was king, it was 50,never Nas. 50 made Jay retire, not Nas.

50 literally said “if David can go against Goliath, I can go at both Jigga and Nas for the Crown”

:hhh:

I'm not agreeing with you. first of all, salaam remi ain't a bad producer at all, I don't know where the slander comes from. remi became the poster child of the nas picking bad beats narrative based on nothing. salaam was mainly present on street's disciple and life's is good, we was barely on hhid and untitled, and that's the two album where people critized nas beats selection the most. He had some misses like who killed it or zone out but the ratio of great stuff is way bigger

second of all, hit boy in 2012 is not the hit boy from 2019 and beyond, he really developed as a producer and really step his game up. sometimes it's just a matter of right timing

Salaam Remi LMAO!! At least we got God's Son out of him, but overall I agree. Hit-Boy and Nas is fantastic and Nas is really REALLY rapping on this one. He sounds hungry as hell.

I have seen multiple posts of people ranking all three in different ways.

Some got KD2 as top, others have it last, some got KD1 on top, others have that last of the three, but the concensus is Magic is in the middle of the two.

I can see that. I love the trilogy for different reasons:

KD1 has a dope mainstream feel to it.
KD2 has a lot of soul to it.
Magic is just gutter.

Can't wait to see where they take it with KD3
