shyt mind boggles me. Like I said earlier, its really only him and Thought that have aged GRACEFULLY in this rap shyt. They both never gave up the essence of their artistry while still reinventing to keep it current and fresh with new production, not chained by nostalgia while improving the out put of their work ethic by miles compared to their 20s and 30s. But obviously Tariq is more niche than Nas whose a multiplatinum selling artist. I wish Jay and Andre would take a page out of this playbook. I loved 4:44 and the verses on Jay Elecs album. And Andres verses on Killer Mikes new joint and that unreleased Kanye was amazing. shyt add Em to that list too for that matter he needs some fukking direction (hes probably too far gone though). They all need to watch what NAS is doing right now as far as the "active ATG lyricist" conversation goes

ESCOBAR SEASON IN JULY HAS RETURNED!!!!!!!!!!!! "Magic" was something very special. It was a huge Christmas Eve Surpise that has not left rotation in almsot two years. 9 songs, no fat, no filler, no hype. A little "Lost Tapes" like in a way. Very happy there's a Sequel coming. So I guess "King's Disease" will be a Trilogy. I'm cool with that Now Magic can be the next Trilogy. This is wonderful news. I heard some chatter but I figured it was a single. "Magic" had a different vibe than the KD albums to me. That's why I give Hit-Boy props because he's been able to make some different sounds for NaS on each album. This is such a huge surprise. I can't believe this will be the 6th NaS album in 5 years. This is an incredible run for the Legendary Hip Hop Veteran. As for this huge Producer debate. I don't care who NaS works with. Just drop the music. In this case we in the Hit-Boy Era. And yes this is an "ERA" you can't even debate it. I won't question why NaS made this decision. It's his artistic choice. Hit-Boy is working for him right now, so keep it going. "Magic 2" will now join these albums as NaS July Releases:
