"🔥🔜🖇️"

"It's linked"

"Good Guess buddy"

The full conversation paints a better picture. Judging by the clarifications I assume he's hinting at Nas collabing with someone new. If I had to guess I'd say Metro, but all signs point to Hitboy taking point on this album as well so idk. Must be another rapper, but if it's a whole album and the reddit guy just decided to highlight the link up, it's gotta be more than a feature right?:jbhmm::jbhmm::jbhmm::jbhmm:

I said earlier in the year that my crazy, unrealistic prediction for this year was that Nas was going to release not one but TWO albums in celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th. One album entirely produced by Primo to pay homage to Hip Hop’s foundation and one album produced by either Hit Boy or Metro to highlight Hip Hop’s future. In a way utilizing these producers would be “linking” Hip Hop’s past and present.

Probably not going to happen but it would be cool. Nas himself said back in 08 that it was his dream to do an album with Primo and an album with Dr Dre and drop them on the same day. It would be poetic in a way if he was able to realize that dream on the genre’s 50th anniversary and instead of with Dre, with Hit Boy, a producer who had done so much to help reinvigorate Nas as an MC

Y'all gotta stop pushing the same tired strawmen to defend Hit-Boy. He has great chemisty with Nas but he's still a B+ producer and there's nothing wrong with wanting to hear guys like Alc et al for a full, focused project with Nas...a full project, not just some throwaways since I know y'all like to treat The Lost Tapes 2 like the big joker in any argument in Hit-Boy's favor :mjlol:

B+ working himself up to an A. The next album will push him up to an A, I can guarantee that.

What’s up with all this Alc hype in the last few pages? I’m not really on top of things, but What has he done that is so damn remarkable?

He’s already A+. Which is why Nas wanted to work with him in the first place.

You don’t produce for Kanye, Jay-Z, Nipsey Hustle, (winning Grammys with all THREE) Big Sean, Asap Rocky, The Game, Travis Scott, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Snoop, Lil Wayne, and Mary J Blige. Please name me a B tier producer who has worked with ALL of these artists extensively.

Not last year. 2020 is when he was in the studio with Dre before he suffered an aneurism.

I personally think he is a A+ but for the sake of argument I was trying to give him room to grow even more haha

I'm not here to shyt on Hit-Boy....but this comment got to be full blown retarded...the amount of great LP's his single handedly produced is crazy....

He's a better producer then Hit Boy & y'all are buggin if you say he ain't.

It's just that Hit-Boy & Nas chemistry seems to be better.

Hit Boy is a good producer no doubt he's not in that category of great but that's just me but saying that I'm all in for a 5th collaboration with Nas.

5thpeat incoming :ahh:

Do you know how many mediocre producers in this day and age have major star credits?

We can't talk about major stars making mediocre microwave music etc but then in the same breath use a producer working with them as your sole argument of their capabilities
