The Nasir album cover isn’t his “worst”. I honestly think its Nastradamus. I love the CONCEPT of boy, man, king, prophet but after the epicness of the I am cover just throwing a hoodie over him and saying “look like you did on It Was Written” was a lazy payoff. They could have done a MUCH better job with that one
It wasn’t a hoodie it was a cloak. And it was good because it closed out the theme.

Hip Hop Is Dead is his worst album cover. I would say it’s his only bad album cover. shyt looked like a cheap thrown together photoshop.

The Nasir cover is dope but Kanye just jacked it off the same folk he jacked the Adam and Eve sample from. Everything about that project is tainted.

I forgot Kanye jacked that album cover. I still like it better than Nastradamus.

Untitled is an underrated cover

I’ll come back to it because off first listen I wasn’t vibing with the production so I couldn’t lock into what the god was saying. I don’t dislike Hit either but this one didn’t move me.

Slow it Down will be played so many times for the rest of the year
*Until the end of time

What’s crazy is that Nas can make “Slow It Down” tracks in his sleep. That vibe and flow is effortless for him.

He could sit back and do a full album with these type joints and a lot of people would be happy, but he doesn’t find much fulfillment in that, he’d much rather keep expanding, pushing boundaries and taking risks like he mentioned on the intro. It’s one of the reasons he’s the Greatest Of All Time.

Naw y’all gotta stop calling everyone haters for not liking this album. It’s ok some of us just don’t like hit boy

These beats are very boring and even though Nas is who he is there isn’t a song on here I feel like I need to here again.

Also I hate these short ass albums.

So far KD3 and the the first magic are the only hit boy albums I played after the first weekend.

I am so out of step with the Nas stan coalition....the consensus seems to be this is his worst album w/ Hitboy....I think it's their best shyt EASILY.

I haven't been particularly impressed by anything they've done up until now....I think KD2 and KD3 are solid albums but nothing special. But I'm loving this shyt :mjlol:

Is it the 808s that are troubling the stuck in the '90s mfs?

I think it's that and the drama in the thread earlier that has people in their feelings. Nas stans are weird about some things (I can confirm this because I'm one of them). Outside of that this album is not quite a smooth as the last two and actually is much more varied, and Nas is giving one of his best performances here.

Everyone's gonna have opinions, I just think putting it down there near Nastradamus/SD/Nasir feels very wrong.
