Album is fire. The criticism of hit boy on here is hilarious because none of these sample purists could even replicate half of what he's able to do musically.

Here's words from Miles Davis that I believe apply to Nas and the fans' Illmatic obsession.

One of the best things about this run is there’s so few skips for me. Magic 2 you can just run all the way throufg and it enjoy it.

Most albums including most Nas albums have a track you’d skip. But there’s such a consistency. Not every song is of course an absolute banger but for me you can press play on all of them and enjoy it.

perhaps only one that has skips for me when I play them is KD2 with EPMD 2 and YKTV
