The Nas enthusiasts gonna hate this lol

KD3 was such a great album! Beats & Concepts! This is just lacking! Expected a fire Intro and that nonsense set the mood for the album. How anyone can like Abracadabra is beyond me! Started off 0-2!
Ended better not counting One Mic / One Gun!
Howwwww do you not like abracadbra???? What headphones are you using??

Easily their weakest project together, so far.

Production on this isn't on par with what Nas can do lyrically. And that's the thing about Hit, he's not dope enough to be running back this many albums with. That's the kinda sh*t you do with the greats. Hit's just not on that level. The first Magic was dope, but this one should've been left on a hard drive somewhere. It's time for Nas to get back to working with the legends again. This joint ain't it. Nas needs to give Uncle Al a call, immediately.

It was dope see 50 pop up though. I've been looking forward to hearing that track.

I wouldn’t say the production is bad at all but they tried a lot of different early on in the album with the abracadabra, black magic and the magic Johnson

The rest of the album sounds like more traditional from these guys

The Nas and Ransom series has been some of the most fun music I have heard in a minute outside of the comical run Spesh was putting out but not in a bad way

God DAMN Nas left earth on Motion!

On my second listen now. Nas flow is STUPID CRAZY. This is really insane what him and Hit Boy are doing.

This is why Nas fukks with Hit Boy. No album sounds like the last. Nas is continually seeking challenges and Hit Boy is giving him diversity in a way NOBODY ELSE can. I love how sonically, they kept to the “Magic” theme. A lot of these beats feel like they were sampled from old Houdini- starring silent film scores.

Only thing i’ll say is 50 wasn’t necessary at ALL on Office Hours, dude was supposed to come with the best bars of his life but he was just a glorified hype man while Nas was snapping.

The beat switches continue to be some of the best i’ve heard. Thats been a highlight of all of the albums thus far and they keep it going here.

I KNEW What This Is All Really means was going to be amongst my favorites.

50 years old. The man is FIFTY YEARS OLD rapping like his life depends on it. Experimenting with different sounds. Sounding energetic and hungry. Gotta love it.
