Sitting in the comfort of my abode, listening to my Life Is Good cd I purchased yesterdat at J&R Music World, on my Bose stereo system is

Just finished listening to the Life Is Good deluxe CD version.
Loco-Motive, Back When, Stay, Roses...the entire album is sonical bliss to the ears. The engineer did a superb job capturing Nas crisp 90s voice. That distinct edge in his voice was lacking. Is it me or does Where's The Love sound like a No ID remixed Hate Me Now.

Initially I thought the sequencing was off but after several listens its almost perfect IMO. Never gets to high or low just flows perfectly... I do think daughters needed some kind of skit or interlude though.. Album is no less than a 4.5 but compared to the trash out lately its easily a 5 mic album. lyricism is just epic and Nas once again outshines every beat on the album...
so i just came from Best Buy i was tryin to cop the deluxe wit the shirt. so i see the regular version and i went and asked bul if they had the Best Buy exclusive wit the shirt. bul went and said that they sold out of them the first day and that there was a line outside to get them. i was like 
there was a fukkin line outside of Best Buy for a Nasir cd like the shyt was Jordans. i didnt end up gettin cause i only wanted the one wit the shirt. imma have to see if they got it online.

Just heard the album last night for the first time, off first listen it's a damn good album, flirting with 4.5 mics.
The best thing I like about it is Nas's delivery. He sounds almost as energetic as he did during Illmatic(not that there's anything wrong with his monotone flow). Remi and No I.D. laced him well, very well with the production. At the age of 38, Nas is still on point lyrically. I'm glad I finally heard this.
