Same thing happened when I went during lunch yesterday, cept I didn't ask anyone, as I could visibly see that there was only 3 copies with the T-shirt there. I'm wearing the T-shirt today actually. Fits just right and is quite comfortable and goes well with my jeans.:ahh::mj:

The only Kelis/Nas song I liked was Not going Back, and that's cause Nas ripped that shyt. Hey Nas was aight but forgettable and American Way she fukking ruined. Not even Nas could save that one

yea not going back was :noah: status only cause she didnt have a big presence on the song and nas was spitting some real shyt. the chorus on heynas was :gag: to me and american way was :merchant: idk im just not a fan of her raspy voice.

Not Going Back >>American Way>> Hey Nas

Hey Nas has a smooth beat and Claudette Ortiz to make up for Kelis. American Way, lyrically is great but Kelis sounds absolutely nail bitingly TERRIBLE over that beat. shyt is head bashingly awful.

Yeah, I agree with all this. I always felt that for them (Nas & Kelis) to have been a good couple initially that they did not make the best of music together. Nas should've hooked up with Chrisette Michelle or Amy Winehouse, cuz each time he's did songs with them, those songs sounded beautiful (Still Dreamin, Can't Forget About You, Like Smoke, Cherry Wine are all :ahh:)

Yeah, I wish Chrisette Michelle made better albums and worked with Nas more. Her first album was great, but follow ups were quite lackluster IMO. And R.I.P. Amy.

Yujiro Hanma from Baki the Grappler, a martial arts anime. His alias on there is The King, as he was the King of all the Fighters. I play & excel at all fighting games, including King of Fighters, hence the status next to it, so you don't even have to ask me how.:shaq:

I'm a Nas fan and I'm always rooting for dude- and bought this album off of Amazon(digital version) with that said... I like about 3-4 cuts but this album just isn't that good. Lyrically he shined as usual but its the beats that plague him once more. Most of these new age beats don't match his flow.

When I'm hearing things like "by the 2nd or 3rd listen I started to get into it", "I had to take it out to the whip to hear it", etc.. that's not good and its basically a sign of denial. I love Nas(n/h) and I'm always rooting for dude but 'Life Is Good' is average at best. don't neg me too hard

I felt like there was 10-12 good produced songs on this album even though the beat issue comes up in the middle. I honestly think No ID laced him this time.

At 18 tracks, the flawed tracks showed but for me personally, I thought there was still enough good material on here.

Someone said this is the best album to come out since 97'. I am going to cop this today on the strength of that alone.
