I appreciate the production update compared to his last albums, and his relentlessness to keep his shyt NY no matter what, and the blend of 90s nas and this new era rejuvinated nas more than anything.

He's got shyt for OG's, cool young nikkas. Theres another sect of cats who aint gonna feel it, young minded or whatever it may be.

He does come off "old vet" sometimes but it's cool he's earned that. his "don" gimmick is only right

Anyone doing this 20 years in the game is automatic GOAT status.

Only the Hamilton song makes me wanna punch the speakers. All in all I'm thoroughly impressed...mostly by his rapping too. That's the best thing about this album. Yeah the beats are better but the fukkin raps are back too. And his voice was recorded and engineered right so he sounds youthful.

i thought i was the only one who noticed that about his voice. ever since Ghetto Dreams it had become so blatantly evident

It's called Revolutionary Étude and he wrote it when he got the message of a failed uprising in Poland against the Russians. Just representin.

so are we goon talk about Nas 3rd verse on that Anthony Hamilton song. I wasn't feeling the first 2 verses, but the 3rd verse, I was like wow, wasn't sure if it worked at first I was in two minds but i think it worked in the end, like Nas was exorcising his pain in a deep ass story.
