After the dust has settle from after the first week…everyone calling it classic lol

This is my least fav of the 3

I got 1,2,3 in that order
I’ve got it 3,2,1. I’ve got kd2 and kd3 as personal classics. Kd1 4.5 mics too me. Great thing about the series is everyone will have something different. Including Magic and it makes it even more special.

Very unpopular opinion, but I respect it.

It’s crazy to see people’s preferences, just shows how good all 4 releases have been.

KD1 is easily the worst one for me. I don't hate it but the other ones ring off more. I think It's KD3, Magic, KD2 and then KD1. Just realized right now it's reverse release order. I think Hitboy and Nas got better at working with each other as they went. I'm down for yet another LP or EP but I wish they'd mix it up. Do some kind of concept album. Like rap classic covers. Like sample rap classics beats into something modern and have Nas rap over those. Bring in some original artists for the hook and feature.

I think next album will have some surprising features. It sounds like 50 may be one of them.

I probably have KD1 last of the series too but it will always have a special place especially after that disaster with Kanye. It was the birth of something I didn’t know was coming. The greatness of this collabo started with “I made the fade famous, the chain famous…” :wow: It was my introduction to Hit-Boy even though I heard some of his shyt I didn’t know him. Sounded fresh to me. He seemed to have immediate chemistry with Nas. His production seemed perfect because he gave him a diverse soundscape. Their first one was a dope surprise in the middle of a pandemic. I’ll remember staying up on release night with some y’all playing this joint back to back to back until I went to sleep. Even though I have it last it more so speaks to the greatness of the series. I think this rates and stands among the other dope projects between Nas and Hit-Boy. My favorite five are the intro, Blue Benz, Car #85, 27 Summers, and The Cure. Ultra Black was a great single. I thought Spicy would have rang off more if folks were outside. shyt featured a return of the Firm with a dope verse from Dre. We saw Nas collab with the youths. A mix of old and new, a return to form. All in all just a great unexpected start to an incredible run that would breath new life into Nas’s already illustrious career.

I agree KD1 is the most meaningful of this run. shyt, KD3 is not even 1 year old. KD4 might still come. Or Magic 2? Or something brand new. Hitboy stays very busy. That's awesome. I know Hit likes to work and Nas has been compensating Hit for it. This is also the most successful run for Hitboy too. Hitboy has bigger hits but as for projects, this is his best easily.

Exactly the way I feel about KD1. I just wanted anything better than that Ye nonsense Nas&HB delivered. Was it Nas best no but he sounded like Nas again. Nasir sounded all over the the place:trash:. Who knew KD1 was just a prelude to the shyt after:banderas::wow:
