Wherever nikkas need to be told on
After a minute of not listening to this I ran it back a few times in the past few days

I think it’s my favorite of the Hit-Boy series. I just press play. It’s great all the way through. I can’t wait for the vinyl to come thru this spring.

Overall I think I might actually have it as the number 4 album in Nas’s disco after illmatic, IWW, and LT1. Dropping a top 5 effort 30 years in is crazy.

That Legit-Thun-Michael & Quincy sequencing is still mind blowing. Legit is the shiniest gem from this joint.

On my soul, this for my kids and the cold shyt I done did
All them O's I tried to flip, who'd have thought I'd go legit?
:whew:

Nas has 4 undisputed classics Illmatic, IWW, LT1, Stillmatic. Then afterwards he has KD3, Magic, LIG, Distant Relatives, GS, KD2, I Am, KD1, Untitled all at least 4 mics or above :dead: . Add the features & unreleased songs that is a ridiculous catalogue GOAT :wow:.
Crazy thing is, people still try to downplay his catalogue.

Hit boy literally makes the most diverse beats and people complaining about him still. I could see if breh had a signature sound, he doesn’t tho. HB got the GOAT goating the way he should

Maybe there are some producers here who see patterns in Hit Boy's beats that most people don't, so they know when it's his production. But to complain about two people having great chemistry and putting out quality music every year is bizarre to me. I don't see the point in that.

I think secretly, some people are hoping Nas drops another dud so they can be justified in wanting him to work with other producers. They'll blame Hit Boy and be like, "See, I told you they were getting stale."

If the Nas album drops this year. Don’t listen to the album until 2026 if you have fatigue. That’s my suggestion

My best friend is a huge Kendrick fan. He still hasn't listened to Mr. Morale and he's in no hurry to listen to it. Not because of what people have said about it, but because he barely listens to new albums these days. If it bothers someone that much that Nas is releasing music annually, they don't have to listen to his next album on the first day. They can do it on their own time.

This isn't a Rihanna situation where you couldn't escape her and her music was everywhere for over a decade. Chances are, they're not playing KD3 at Walgreens.

I'm resigned to the fact that people will complain about Nas's production choices regardless of who was behind the boards. People would still complain if KD3's production credits read like so:

Ghetto Reporter (produced by No I.D.)
Legit (produced by Kanye West)
Thun (produced by Havoc)
Michael & Quincy (produced by No I.D., additional drum programming by Metro Boomin)
30 (produced by Metro Boomin, additional production by No I.D.)
Hood2Hood (produced by Pharrell Williams)
Recession Proof (produced by Salaam Remi and No I.D.)
Reminisce (produced by 9th Wonder, additional drum programming by Metro Boomin)
Serious Interlude (produced by Salaam Remi)
I'm On Fire (produced by Kanye West and No I.D.)
WTF SMH (produced by Timbaland, J-Roc, and No I.D.)
Once A Man, Twice A Child (produced by No I.D.)
Get Light (produced by 9th Wonder)
First Time (produced by 9th Wonder)
Beef (produced by Dem Jointz, additional production by Dr. Dre)
Don't Shoot (produced by The Alchemist)
