I've been saying this for years there is certain segment of this "base" that is just:snoop:

I don’t get this point is Nas only capable of making good music with Hitboy? No one in this thread has said they don’t like the releases that he’s dropped in the past few years, just that they would like him to experiment with other producers and new ideas also, what’s wrong with that?

Even Michael chose to switch it up with Quincy, if someone wants to see him work with whoever there’s nothing wrong with that either.

I'm cool with with whatever long as the music is quality, I'm indifferent either way. I see both sides my preference is a mixture but whatever what can we do:manny:

Its about what inspires NAS and gets NAS into the studio…

Them other producers obviously ain’t doing that.

Nas has said time and time and TIME again that he only records when he’s inspired. Hit Boy has unlocked a consistency within him, when it comes to actually dropping music, that we’ve NEVER seen from him. Not ONCE in 30 years has he dropped 4 albums in consecutive years. Obviously the man has access to any producer he could possibly want to work with, and those producers aren’t the guy right now.

So you either wanna hear new Nas projects on a consistent basis or you want him to FORCE HIMSELF to work with other producers just so he can end up scrapping it and going back to the drawing board, like what happened when he was working with Timabland, which led to the six years in between Life Is Good and Nasir…

If your a true Nas fan you wanna hear NAS. Doesn’t matter if he never works with another producer again.

Maybe I worded it incorrectly. Nah I know Nas has collab with a lot of younger and new artist. But I think In 2023, we will see him take it even further with the modernization collabs and sound. I definitely don’t follow that narrative. I even rock with that joint he did Justin Bieber years ago. Also that lil Nas x joint was low key a banger at that time. (People don’t want to admit it though)

I love that song and no one ever talks about it.

You ain't gotta question it......you already know the answers (already know the answerrrrrrs) :ahh:

It doesn’t matter how much of a fan I am, I don’t want any of the artists I hold in high regards to work with the same producers for 5+ albums if I had a preference. It’s not a big deal, i would want Nas to work with Alchemist, Large Pro No Id Salaam Remi again of course. He has just as much as a proven track record with the aforementioned as he does Hitboy, he doesn’t have a proven track record with Timberland though.

If MJ worked with Quincy all his career he wouldn’t be as great as he was, it was refreshing to hear MJ with Teddy Riley then hear with him Rodney Jenkins, too much of even a good thing can get boring at times.

To be fair. Nas has always had tons of unreleased music because he was always working. But with label issues and all kinda other shyt he wouldn't release the music. With him having complete control now he can release what he wants and when he wants. That's the biggest difference imo. Even when he went on his hiatus it's not like he stopped making music. He just didn't release the shyt. Which resulted in a bunch of music we STILL ain't heard yet. And prolly won't ever hear. So I'm not gonna shyt on other producers as if they not good enough to inspire him to be in the studio. Nas found a groove with Hitboy and that's amazing. The thing I like the most about their partnership is Hitboys ability to Executive Produce Nas and Nas' trust in him and willingness to listen. So I believe if he got with other producers and maybe Hitboy sat in an executive producers seat the shyt would still turn out great. Nas has classic albums without Hitboy.

nikkas whynning just wanna hear some dusty premo and Pete rock beats in 2023 smh.....

Only thing would be a name change to the album outside of that keep up the nas& hitboy duo

He dropped that track with Premier last year, most the dudes talking he should work with Preem were nowhere to be found

Same with the Pete Rock tracks on Lost Tapes 2, it's like they never happened

I'm here for a Nas-Premier album any day. I also want the Nas-AZ joint and another Firm album but realize neither gonna happen.

The Hit-Boy era been a great time to be a Nas fan, not gonna complain at all if they keep dropping projects this caliber

yep I think HB will stay involved going forward. I do think Nas wants to shutup a certain segment of the "base'' tho . He didn't mention Preme for no reason on 30 or send a light jab at them on Wu for the children. We might get 2 projects this year

This is what I’d want an executive produced Hitboy album with production from him and others like AlC, Metro Boomin, DJ Dahi Madlib maybe?
