Gotta say, I love this album man. There's always a gem when I go back through it. Incredible run by these dudes. Sample packs or not, media push interviews or not, the music is dope and is what will be remembered.
the last person I would expect to be hyping up a Nas album lol

I seen somebody say hit boy beats probably don’t sound good live. Clearly that person hasn’t heard 40-16 building live.Psycho stans arguing with themselves about what Nas should be doing with his life after almost 30 years
And fools arguing about Hit-boy’s beats. You know the haters had to find something to not like eat a dikk at this point.
Beat me tooBeat me to it, lol. Definitely didn't expect that.
There are certain folks in these threads who don't like any discussion that's not effusive praise
It's both.
What he chose to sample was thin and his process didn't add anything to make it sound full.
That's a flat out lie.
9th Wonder has been criticized for using the same snare for years. Not the overall beat just the snare. Madlib got criticism for adding too much noise, Daringer for using the same drum patterns, Alchemist for boring drumless loops, etc. You thinking this is the only album thread where a producer gets criticism or it's only reserved for Hit Boy is absurd.
A song being dope is subjective and no one said he's a wack producer.
