Disagree. nikka blackin thru this whole album. But even then. He went crazy on Echo. He ain’t putting out albums. nikka drop a verse every year or 2.
Lot of dope verses on nearly every track. I'm talking about like...top level verses. Like on that DJ Khaled joint with Scarface, Hip Hop. Stillmatic intro. You're Da Man. American Way, second verse (might be the most underrated Nas song imo). shyt like that.

Ish a Hov stan and barely likes any rap today. Hates on Kendrick, hates on Cole, he's consistent.

In terms of the "left earth" thing...I'd say the last time Nas completely left earth was The Truth off Magic, both verses. Outside of that I'd point to the beat switch part of The Cure. Both are examples of my favorite Nas: the elite shyt talk and the poetic, evocative shyt. I think there are less of those moments on these albums due to the freestyling, vs writing. The next one I can think of would be maybe...Back Then from LIG. Or Stay of course.

I'm not sure I've heard a better verse than the Andre one on Life Of The Party in years though, from anyone. Reminds me a lot of Common's verse on Respiration, which is a top 5 verse ever for me.
Would you consider The Godfather IV verse on Dave East track as “leaving earth” Nas?

I think the second verse was one of his best features in that timeline of his career

halfway thru...this is dope.
EDIT: Their comparison of Hitboy and Alchemist ison point n exactly how i feel.
Alchemist would make great Nas type beats but HB makes great range beats that are not typical Nas type beats
Yeah I think that was a great point. Hitboy definitely has a range that allows Nas to expand.

But I also think the chemistry Nas and HItboy have has been fine tuned over the course of the past 3 albums to where they are at now. I think that’s what makes KD3 stand out and something extra special.

I think Primo or Alchemist could make albums with Nas that would be on par with KD1, 2 or maybe even Magic. But the flows, rhyme schemes, concepts and hunger that Nas has on KD3 especially I feel is a direct result of his chemistry with Hitboy.

It’s like Primo and Guru on Moment Of Truth. It’s just a perfect match.

Victory with DJ Khaled, heck even Nas album done.

Read an article where Hit-Boy said as soon as the album comes out, everyone is going to ask about KD 4. Interesting because he didn't shoot it down. I wonder if, in their mind, Magic was any different than what they were doing for the KD albums. I think it was. I think Magic was a little harder. I'm thrilled at the KD trilogy, but I would welcome Magic II. What do you think? KD IV or Magic II?

magic 2 w/ features and end it for good. Move on to something else…. take a break.. enjoy. We don’t deserve anymore if he does that. i Do think he still got one in the chamber though.
