What he say? Lol
basically 'fukk you backpackers. get out of your basement. we was outside enjoying I Am, You Owe Me, Ochie Wally and you kept critiquing him and boxing him in'

Only critique so far is Joe feels although Nas lyrically great. he didn't elevate to his absolute alien level peak. He gives example of Jay or 3 Stacks on the Kanye joint but rebuttal someone on the pod was which is same i have, it's easier to go to your peak if you only drop a verse one every 2 years. Nas doing 2 albums a year basically. i bet if Nas didn't do a verse for 5 years he'd come through with so much to say the verse would be crazy

I’m glad someone rebutted that shyt and imma keep it real. There’s mad verses I like from the KD and Magic series WAY better than that God Did verse.

Budden and crew blown away by the album.
Facts they did really well with this review…hopefully no complaints about it. But on some troll shyt Is he allowed to even speak on Nas. I mean he’s a way lesser MC than him right? So his opinion shouldnt even be valued right :lupe: lmao

I could see that. I always said Nas' biggest problem wasn't beat selection, it was track selection. There would always be that one song or two that could have been replaced. Even Life is Good, a near-perfect album, has "Summer on Smash." I like that song, but if you replaced it with literally any of the bonus tracks, I wouldn't miss it.

But ever since King's Disease, that problem has been eliminated. If you listen to all of these albums, you're never wondering what the unreleased stuff sounds like. The track selection has been impeccable. Songs that could have thrown off the quality ("This Ain't Love, But I Love It," "Spicy," "Til My Last Breath") are either sequenced at the end or left off entirely. KD2 was flawless outside of "EPMD 2." Critics can't point to those obvious duds that shouldn't have been on the album because there aren't any.

Thank you, I've been sayin this for years ! a lot of nas' album have unreleased cuts that blew away a lot of the retail ones. lets rearrange iam and nastradamus to the double disc, some tracks on stillmatic, streets disciple, hhid untitled and lig and you got way better albums. the beats are good for the style nas have. no overproduced shyt or to synthetics. his beats got soul and age pretty well if you compare to vol 2 and 3 jay z for example

hit boy got rid of the extra filler tracks, you can press play on any of the hit boy series and it flows well

the so called backpackers only critique nas on his beats just cause with no real arguments. mega got almost all the illmatic producers on born again and no one praised that album. no one check for primo and large pro beats outside the nas conversation. no one praised the 2 pete rock beats on lost tapes 2. if nas were to get produced by them, they would procede to say it's not illmatic

Ima post that video from royce once again, denoucing the hypocrisy of these backpacker sheeps

He would be better off getting Nicki. Cardi voice and delivery would sound awkward. He should get Harlem or BX on it tho. In whatever way he can.

MassAppeal is a confused ass label. Yeah i said it
we love nas but it needed to be said

I thought the point of business is to make money. silly me..
That spend little but maximize profit only works for a super hot song that picked up steam organically

Fivio Foreign is having a hard time wrapping his head around 21 Savage calling Nas "irrelevant" ... and not only because he was featured on Nas' Grammy Award-winning album a couple years ago.

The way Fivio sees it ... after 28 years of prolific music making, Nas has earned carte blanche status in the rap game, and can legitimately have zero fear of ever being obsolete.

TMZ Hip Hop linked with Fivio Tuesday at LAX, and he was quick to crown Nas "King of New York" in wake of 21's slander.
