Certified Lullaby another mid at best project if not shyt.

Tyler joint Nas only competition so far and Tyler shyt a lil overrated to me. Alc jawns with Boldy and Armand Hammer nice too but nikkas won't be hyping it much

Just waiting on Kendrick now can't see anyone else

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
KD2 really brought out the insecurities in a lot of Nas naysayers. They see that it isn't just Nas fans that are loving the album and naysayers feel a certain way about it.
nikkas talkin bout Donda album of the year and I don’t think Nas shyt HAS to be someone’s album of the year but I can’t even fathom how someone can think Donda is album of the year. Like I can’t even comprehend what kind of listener u would have to be to think that. Lol

Ft. Stewart, Ga
Both Donda and CLB suffer from excess filler. Donda is a little more blatant and meandering whereas Drake’s shyt is more consistent but its the same old Drake. There’s nothing to really sink your teeth into lyrically or conceptually.

Neither album makes any type of real statement. And whats also disappointing is that, for both albums to have gestated for so long, they feel shockingly lazily executed in some ways. The album covers for both are wack. The sequencing is weird. Guest features just added for the hell of it.

Nas and Hit Boy just went in with a clear vision and executed it perfectly. Kings Disease 2 made a STATEMENT about Nas as an artist, a man, and an elder in Hip Hop. You can tell thought went into every song, every guest feature, hell every VERSE. There’s no wasted “space” on this album.

You can tell a lot of people online are unsure and uncomfortable on how to proceed. Nasir made Nas the laughing stock on twitter for days. The slander was wide open, from the mixing to what we now know is a standard modern Kanye practice: failing to turn an album in on time, resulting in frustrating release delays that last well beyond midnight.

Since then Nas has (literally) made tens of millions of dollars and released two great albums. People wait for the slander to start when the album drops, and when they realize the reactions are positive they say some shyt like “this new Nas isn’t bad” and then never mention the album again lol. It’s like they’re disappointed they don’t have a punching bag anymore.

Let them talk. That’s what they were wishing for and was left disappointed. FD2 had no bs rollout, they just released it and allowed the music to speak loudly for itself.

Told nikkas it’s a weird unfair bias when it comes to Nas. Now nikkas can see it clearly. nikkas literally preying on his downfall yet every 5 seconds it’s “Nas stans” this and “Nas stans” that.

KD2, Donda and Bo Jackson are all incredible albums to me, and all completely different from one another.. it's tough to compare, but I'll probably lean toward Nas since it's the most complete and consistent

August was a great month
