LIG is a classic Nas album. All that "only stans think so" is nonsense. That album has recieved so much praise, and rightfully so. I remember Kendrick saying the album is crazy and one of his favorites from that year.
Damn. No Car 85 is weird seeing that I can’t front. LolI combined both albums into a single album tacklist based on my personal favorite tracks
1: King's Disease
2: Pressure
3: Ultra Black
4: Rare
5: The Definition
6: Moments (Song topic of reminiscing about the past transitions really nice into Full Circle)
7: Full Circle
8: 10 Points
9: The Cure
10: Store Run
11: Nobody
12: No Phony Love
13: Count Me In
14: Composure
15: Nas Is Good
The songs missing do not mean they are bad, I just like the way it flows in this sequencing personally before anyone comes at me for missing songs they like
I don’t know what u listening to on KD1 to feel like it’s easily better than LIG. Lol. Honestly. And I love KD1. But there’s tracks on LIG that are better than every track on KD1.It's a dope album...nothing more, IMO of course. I think yall overrate it too but yall overrate everything Nas does so at least with LIG you're overrating something that's actually dope, lol. Not you specifically, speaking generally. Illmatic, Stillmatic, KD2, IWW, LT1, KD1 all >>>>>> to me, easy.
I could definitely see it in there, No Phony Love was just personally my favorite of the two Charlie Wilson tracksDamn. No Car 85 is weird seeing that I can’t front. Lol
Yea I like Car 85 more because I feel like the No Phony Love hook could be a lil better.I could definitely see it in there, No Phony Love was just personally my favorite of the two Charlie Wilson tracks
Sound like my reactionI was in a Lyft tonight. Told the driver to play KD2. Homie is 38 and originally from BK. He wasn’t feeling the first few songs. When we got to Rare, homie almost crashed the whip he was so hype. By the time we got to Store Run, homie was going crazy.
Sound like my reaction
The Life Is Good slander is simply REVOLTING.
Life Is Good is a stone cold CLASSIC
is any rapper fukking with this?(chronological order)
1. Illmatic
2. It Was Written
3. Stillmatic
4. God’s Son
5. Lost Tapes 1
6. Distant Relatives
7. Life is Good
8. KD1
9. KD 2
9 albums that are objectively 4 mics at the least. That’s fukking crazy.
Miguel was already dope before LIG. Him and Nas could’ve done MUCH better. I mean look at what Salaam gave Miguel for How Many Drinks. Smh. shyt get me tight till this day that him and Nas couldn’t have rocked over that. LolI think Life Is Good probably had the best singles of Nas career, Daughters and The Don. But being Def Jam, it required a Summer On Smash, and Accident Murders which I always found kind of mid, easily the worst thing him and Ross did (Nas did more for the Ross tracks than vice versa). With SOS I was like get Miguel all the way the fukk out of here, until I heard what he would morph into later that year lmao. Both dudes sounded soooooooo out of place.
Amy needed to be alive for Cherry Wine to really take off. Unlike a couple others I had zero problems with Salaam, even though World's An Addiction appears to be such a point of contention here. I have NEVER heard the bonus tracks but y'all swear by them and I'll give them a listen.
What's crazy is that I met both Nas and Nipsey on the same day at Galleria Mall in Vegas. So upset that my signed Distant Relatives physical likely got lost in one of my moves, either that or in a car that got totaled.
These nikkaz think this album is overrated coli dudes is crazy with the opinionsI don’t know what u listening to on KD1 to feel like it’s easily better than LIG. Lol. Honestly. And I love KD1. But there’s tracks on LIG that are better than every track on KD1.
