The fact that Nas is on the cover of Apple Music’s Rap Life playlist and at least three of his songs are on it (YKTV, EPMD 2, and Nobody) in addition to Rare being #1 on Best New Songs under Apple Music’s Hip Hop category just blows my mind :wow::wow::wow:

#GOAT

One thing about nikkas when they are wrong they will die on that sword Instead of man up and be like yeah my bad you was right and keep it moving. Dude just said I Am wasn't bootlegged:mjlol:

Nas put to work on a double album that merged the styles of his first two albums and detailed entire aspects of his life. Although he was able to use most songs, other songs that would have made I Am… a double album leaked onto the internet in MP3 format, forcing him to record new material for two separate single-disc releases (hence, the release of Nastradamus in the same year).

Here's the version That The Source had and review and gave it 4.5 mics

I Am...The Autobiography (The Original Concept)
Track listing
  • 1.1Fetus (Belly Button Window)
  • 1.2NY State of Mind Pt. II
  • 1.3Life Is What You Make It
  • 1.4Small World
  • 1.5Hardest Thing to Do Is Stay Alive
  • 1.6Poppa Was a Playa
  • 1.7Nas Is Like
  • 1.8Blaze a 50
  • 1.9Favor for a Favor
  • 1.10We Will Survive
  • 1.11Some of Us Have Angels
  • 1.12Project Windows
  • 1.13Day Dreaming, Stay Scheming
  • 1.14Sometimes I Wonder
  • 1.15Undying Love
  • 2.1After Life (Intro)
  • 2.2Amongst Kings
  • 2.3Life We Chose
  • 2.4Drunk by Myself
  • 2.5Pray
  • 2.6God Love Us
  • 2.7Ghetto Prisoners
  • 2.8Last Words
  • 2.9Family
  • 2.10Come Get Me
  • 2.11Find Your Wealth
  • 2.12U Gotta Love It
  • 2.13Wanna Play Rough
  • 2.14The Rise and Fall
  • 2.15My Worst Enemy
  • Now this 4.5 mic Album from Nas got bootlegged The Source had to go listen to the 2nd version and change their review and in the new review of the 2nd version they was highly critical of I AM they went in hard didn't like number of tracks and that review was not a 4.5 mic review, but the Mic ratings was still the same. They either kept the same mic rating's and gave NAS another Illmatic pass or they forgot. Because by their review it wasn't a 4.5 mic Album

This.

And most importantly than we can say that Nas just dropped one of his best albums should be the focus and not some review that nobody will even remember a week from now.

I Am... is definitely 4.5 mics. This has to be the most polarizing Nas album. It's mind blowing to me how some consider it an "ok" album.

The original double LP version would've been the GOAT.
:usure:

I AM ain't better or equal to IWW it ain't a 4.5 mic Album, Now I AM the original is a 4.5 mic Album you can find it on the internet and listen to it yourself

I AM is 4 mics at best, in matter of fact go find The Source review of I AM And read the review when they was all over the sequencing and talked about his flow on Big Things and trashed like 5/6 songs:mjlol: that review didn't Match the 4.5 mic rating's. The Illmatic grace saved him again or they just flat out forgot

Bro. Many of us have the original Source magazine article. It's even been posted on here before.

Now I AM the original is a 4.5 mic Album you can find it on the internet and listen to it yourself

Any version of I Am... that is on the net isn't the original album. They are fan made comprised of songs from leaks. It isn't Nas's vision as nobody ever had the double album. Tracklist of the original plans Nas had never even leaked.

IWW is 5 mics.

Smh... I guess I should revise my personal rating of "I Am..." because my opinion of certain tracks differs from whatever was written on the source article. It's a 4.5 mic album, imo.

Did all those songs get released/leaked? I know a bunch of them off top but some I’m not sure of

Lol dude does look moist

It’s a good album even though I wouldn’t have it as only a 6.1 out of 10 he has some valid critiques on these boasting legacy albums and Nas lyrically isn’t as sharp as he used to be.

I’m tired of that Nas/Pac story :russell: :deadhorse:
