Interesting comparison.
Finding forever is the weakest of the 4.
Be is flawless tho...
Be>KD2>>>>>>>>>>>KD1>>>Finding Forever
A few people have brought up the following lines and point to Cole's album being "The Off Season", and how Nas has played it cool regarding Cole's comments regarding the Kelis situation.
"Hurtin’ nikkas, I think they out for the rest of the season
Tried to play it cool, they don’t wanna see me heated, nah"
Who knows though...
Neveruary 3rd.How long does it take for it to be delivered? I'm still waitin on my Street's Disciple T-shirt from the old Sony website.
lol Be is not better than KD2. But maybe y'all just hold that era of Common in higher esteem than me. He has like three albums I like better than Be.
Agree pretty much I think Nas was sharper on LIG but I can't disagree with anyone who thinks KD2 is better.A few thoughts after a few days of listening
How is Nas still this good?storytelling and concept tracks in 2021 still at an elite level. 3 verse tracks in 2021? HOW NAS!?
-This album came out of nowhere and Nas and Hitboy delivered. The production is better than any of the projects hitboy did last year (Bennys BOP included). It’s like a bunch of “The Cure” level beats spread out all here. Very impressed by the chemistry.
-Nas sounds inspired and motivated lyrically and his flow has sharpened. I was impress how he sounded on “27 summers” but he sounds even more fluid on “Pressure”, “40th”,”Rare”, “EPMD2” and “Compsure”. We got a lot of vintage Nas on here.
-Em needs to learn less is more sometimes. Second half of his verse was salvageable.
-Ms Hill came through and crushed the buildings
-HITBOY gave Nas a run for his money on “Composure”
-Yea didn’t think it would be possible but Nas might have topped Life Is Good.
Nope. A person on this site actually leaked that.Maybe the unreleased 2pac diss headlines a few weeks ago were pushed by Nas' camp
plus it could also be a double entendre on Nas part because Cole's basketball career was short lived
nas would have too much ammunition on him basically being his son, its like if Toni Braxton dissed at Anita Baker...prob did get pissed that Cole had that stan song about Nas and then flipped on him over what Kelis said
I think Common best album is Like Water For Chocolate. I wanna hear your critique of Be tho lol, thats literally an album with 0 flaws. 0 skips. Finding Forever just felt like a less inspired version of Be. Still a good album nonetheless
KD2 is an instant classic...but we just gonna leapfrog Be so easily tho...
Nope. A person on this site actually leaked that.
I don't have any critique of Be. It's dope front to back. But on some emcee shyt I don't think it's as interesting or creative as his 2nd, 3rd and 4th album.
