Can't argue that Nas' production is bad anymore, so now the complaint is Nas' production is TOO good :mjlol::mjlol:

Yall ain't listening...

I never said the production is bad. It's not, the production on this shyt is amazing.

I'm saying specifically for NAS, he's at his best on looped beat. Not all the extra shyt Hitboy has sometimes. That's all. I love the second half of this album.

I think this is considerably better than the first album.

Some of my complaints about that album still aren't resolved; I still think Nas has taken a step back as a rapper and Hitboy has some nice beats but there is a hollowness to his production that means I just can't look at him as a top tier producer.

Now saying that, I think these songs feel much more fleshed out than the first album. Nas' writing feels stronger and more focused. Even the best songs on KD felt minor to me compared to Nas' better songs. There's stuff on here that feels like Nas operating closer to his best. To me something like Death Row East is what Nas does best....takes a subject and just sorta reflects on it in an almost stream of consciousness way.

Hitboy has done better too. Less throwaway dollar store Roc-a-Fella beats. Some dope beat switches. He's never gonna be one of my favorite producers but him and Nas clearly got something good going on creatively.

:pachaha::pachaha:The goat forever walking in valley of habitual line steppers...they wont let up

Yall gotta chill with this shyt. Nas is my favorite rapper and I'll defend his shyt against anybody else.

But I'm not gonna come in here and say everything I'd flames just for online points. Just told my opinion. I really like this album btw and it's miles better than KD1
