The production on this is definitely better than the first King's Disease, no debate. Hit Boy heard what you guys were saying about his beats. He was like, "Look at my face. You think I'm joking? I'm past playing this time. :demonic:"

Nas’ flow is sharp on a good bit of these tracks.

It’s just slower and less technical than what it used to be as a whole, even circa LIG

I attribute most of it to age but he’s still a great emcee

I will admit that Nas is less "rappity rap" than he has been in the past, but I feel like working with Hit Boy has made him change his approach towards writing. He's not writing everything down like he used to, for example. If he has an idea for a bar, he'll just say it. It's more stream of consciousness now. I really don't think he's that concerned with technical rhyming anymore.

I wouldn't say his flow's slowed down that much. Depending on the beat, he adapts to it well and can glide through it at a moment's notice. But you know how there are older players who can't do all the flashy moves they used to, so they start adjusting their style to accommodate their age? I think Nas is beginning to do that in subtle ways. He's still a strong writer and he can flow with the best of them, so he's avoiding the :flabbynsick: stage as much as he can.
