On second spin. First listen wasn’t feeling 40 side as much as the others but it’s fire

also props to Nas. For someone with his wealth now from investments he could talk about it constantly. But he’s a poet and an artist and that wealth shyt is needless in rap. He keeps that shyt for the most part private bar the odd line or two

Next Jay album will rap about wealth how much he’s worth and Beyoncé. Terrible

Ima be honest, the first few tracks except Pressure had me very worried about this album. 40 side ain't it, never liked that EPMD brat at all.

But the beats really picked up in the second half, specificalIy Rare and Store Run. Think the biggest noticeable ifference on this compared to KD1 is Nas rapping. He actually has room to flow and RAP on these beats, something that was missing on KD1.

This album is clearly better than KD1 but I think I'm good on Nas with hitboy collabs for a minute. Can someone explain why he NEVER let's the beat ride out??? Ex. Store Run
