I thinking keep don on the hook and have drake have a verse instead of Sean. Honestly, at this point nas will probably do a mixture of both. I think nas will be working with producers and artist he has wanted to work with.
Yep ur right wasn't even thinking lol definitely needed Drake in place of Sean.

Man Spicy and Replace Me should be hits smh
What a brother gotta do to get a hit out here
call Bruno Mars or Rhianna?

He hasn't had a hit since 2002. You need women and younger audiences for hits, that's not gonna happen. But who cares. The album is great, Nas is doing his thing, and sounds super inspired so we'll get more music soon-ish.

I knew the first time I heard the album that this sect of Nas/Hip Hop Heads wouldn't like the album, lol. This guy seems like one of them dirty, black n milds smokin ashy dudes who only like Boot Camp Click and Ra the Rugged Man or whatever his name is and wears Wu Tang shirts to PTA meetings and shyt like that. This album is too commercial/soft/mature sounding for that type of fan. Nas is not an underground rap darling anymore, he is a superstar legendary rapper with a broader spectrum of fans than a KRS-1 or someone like that, his music reflects that.

We all would love a bar heavy, pen heavy Nas album produced predominantly by boom-bap producers, of course...but that's not what he wants to do or where he is at almost 50 years old, instead of being salty about that just enjoy what he is giving us, because it's still quality.

He's never wanted to do that Nas is too much of a fan of black music and too musically inclined to stay in then confines of boom rap that nerdy cacs want him to stay in.

I mean this is the guy who says no rap in his playlist, it's no surprise he has leanings to Rnb Soul influenced softer rap, these type of nerds who review him do not have appreciation for black music as a whole, also they misconstrue the artists and person he is, Nas has never wanted to be the nerdy backpack rapper they've wanted him to be.

I love what he said about words being your ammunition, and how knowing words can give you advantages. Wish we had more kids reading. Reading at an early age, or even later as a pre-teen and teen, can change your life. It automatically makes you smarter and more prepared for school.

One of my high school teachers was a big Blackalicious fan and would always be big upping songs with a lot of words or syllables. I didn't think of it till years later but that's a good way to get people excited about learning.
