this deserved to be on an album as a single. I'm pissed it got released even though it's one of my favorite nas songs. I wish it would be on a lost tapes in CDQ...

I think that was cut from Street's Disciple. "Talk of NY" was too good to be a leak, but a lot of them were. Still nice to have in the collection though.

Guys, I need help. I just heard this Nas song coming out of someone's car. I know it's him because he says "I'm back with Stoute" and he says "Talk to me" over and over, while this female is singing in the background. Also, it sounded like DMX or Ja Rule was on the track. Who can figure it out first? :feedme:

Who remembers random Nas songs leaking out of nowhere?

"One Never Knows", "You Don't Know Me", "Talk of NY", "Serious", "Ridin Broke" and a lot of others used to just appear on the net. Miss those days.
Yeah there was also "Two Seater", "Never Gonna Give It Up", "Across The Tracks", "Foul Breeze" and "Goodmorning" as well. I remember Salaam Remi said him and Nas recorded so much music when they was making Street's Disciple, that it was about to be a triple disk cd but decided just keep it a double.

It was supposed to be part of the third disc of Streets Disciple. Columbia wouldn’t let him release a three disc album so those songs were scrapped

I know we are taking about missing the days of all those random Nas leaks but I really appreciate the Clue tape, Mix tape era. Being for the Chi, I wasn’t on the streets getting these mixtapes. I got a hold of the music much later. But I was amazed by the quality when I heard them. I started getting music off of audiogalaxy so I was able to start hearing all that shyt at the same time. I was blown away and my first thought was, “this unreleased music is just as good as his albums”. Always had Nas at the top of my list with the true hip hop Gods but this is when he started to separate himself IMO.

CLUE VERSES & MORE

NEVER TOO LATE -Special
ENEMY TOMORROW -Special
QUEEN nikkaS -Super dope
WAR -Super dope
DEATH ANNIVERSARY - Dope
LIVE FROM THE BRIDGE - Dope

Nas has some TIGHT non-album tracks that appeared in other projects too. Enough for a nice little EP.

Salaam also said it was originally supposed to release in the summer but got pushed back to the winter so alot of the tracks they recorded were already old to them by the time it got released so that's also why they didn't make the album
