Most frustrating thing about this album is that we won't get to see it live anytime soon. Man I hope Nas does one of those NPR live things because this album has so much MUSICAL potential in terms of being played by a live band. Imagine Ultra Black with a band.

Or the intro, Car 85, 10 Points, The Cure...I'd love to hear those in an intimate environment like NPR, or a late night show like Jimmy Kimmel.

2 of them nikkas I don't even understand. In any capacity. But the list makes sense to based on what kind of emcee Royce is and what he values in an emcee.
If Nas isn't at the least number 5 on ur list u got bad taste lol
I don't care who it is so that's what I'm chalking it up to with
Royce.

fukk the Nasir hating narrative.

The God is having his third Renaissance with Nasir, Lost Tapes 2 and King’s disease.

I ran all three back to back and was thoroughly satisfied.

Word Nasir mght have been a little underwhelming based on hype and potential but it isn't bad by any stretch. Simple Things is such a beautiful joint.
