i think mainly because its' written for a big publication and that bullshyt narrative will falsely go around
The bottom line is people really need more important things in their lives to care about if these reviews are so triggering. Maybe yall young and don't have much else going on in life right now so that's cool. That'll change. But Nas has shown this stuff doesn't bother him by continuing to do what the fukk he wants to do and not what's not popular. It's amazing the mental of some Nas fans/"stans" where yall would want to make a nerdy looking white boy famous by harassing him lmao. Get a different hobby. Everyone is not going to absolutely obsess over everything Nas does. But I have some one word names that seems to LOVE what Nas does and thinks he's the greatest/one of
Denzel
Lebron
Melo
JLo
Lala
Larenz
Jada
Fab
Common
Jay-Z
Wahlberg
Waka
Juicy J
Raekwon
Ghost
Primo
Timbo
Swizz
Dr. Dre
Nia
Royce
I literally can go for hours with some the greatest entertainers/artists of all time that sings Nas praises. Is this not enough for yall that I have to filter this cac's pic in this thread while I'm scrolling. You nikkas need to be men and not give a fukk what anyone else says about some shyt you love

I was thinking this too, but Foxy lost it

Wouldn't be surprised if it took her a couple extra takes to get her verses out. But Nas and Az on the other hand is the dynamic duo

She's out of practise, but she was solid. Was great to hear Cormega with them again too, he always spits dope introspective verses.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Revisiting the "Nasir" album, made some personal contrasts with King's Disease.

And while Nasir had its moments, and Kanye is my favorite producer, all time...

Hit Boy really laced Esco on this and this shiits on Nasir on so many levels, it's not even on the field of play (not sure if i've heard a project where Nas was spitting on top tier production since... that album of his that was released around 27 summers ago).

KD sounds much more cohesive and polished/refined than his collabo project with Ye. Perhaps Kanye and HB just have better chemistry and it radiates in this album. My only gripes about KD is that every song could be just ONE MINUTE longer and Foxy should have been replaced with Nature... and Spicy could have used a stronger beat (would have concluded the album nicely).

Last thing, the most important thing. Nas' pen game has not stalled or deteriorated one bit. If anything, this may be one of his most prolific projects lyrically. Dude is spitting modern scripture and during these precarious times, too relevant for TV. So sincerely, w e needed this release just as much as we need a vaccine in 2020. As much as these wild fires need to halt from leaving the golden state lands scarred... and hurricanes down south need to shrink to just a breeze in the yard.

As much as we need police brutally to come to an absolute halt.

It's funny you say that, for some reason i kinda remember Nas saying Kobe approached him about the line years later and they talked and patched things up, and it was all love

EDIT:

This, they talked that out/cleared things up

I ran Nasir back myself and it furthered my opinion that it is unfairly hated/is an underrated piece of work. I wouldnt mind Nas and Kanye getting back in the lab like he did with Hit, time length wise. Its easy work for Nas, Nasir proved that.
