It’s absolutely crazy how these people can flip anything, everyone who grew up like us knew what Nas meant when he said that, these out of touch white hipsters need to stop reviewing hip hop.

And the same ones who say Nas is playing it safe for making positive pro Black songs are the same ones quick to call him sexist for a few lines, then turn around and hand out a high score to someone who makes a whole album about coke and hoes. I don't lose sleep over it but the double standard is clear.

The cure second verse is perfection, beat, flow, lyrics, vivid storytelling, life lessons all packed in one verse...not too many people can accomplish all this in one verse man, I can’t stop listening to it.
Few mc's can have songs like that over and over again in a career. really almost none. that's why dude is the GOAT. The second verse beat switch of the cure is the type of time he was on during the classic lost tapes material and I am era. No coincidence I see someone saying they want to revisit that album.

Will check this out. It’s great to see Esco doing so many interviews.
He’s way more comfortable doing zoom interviews than in person. I’ve seen a ton of Nas interview. He’s never been like this

In person interview he acts weird and voice sounds different. He might have social anxiety

Indeed. He’s been able to articulate his perspective well during these zoom interviews. You can see him gathering his thoughts and thinking through what he really wants to say.

I never thought about that but I did notice that he's way more comfortable and more open during this press run. Even on the Zoom meetings he doesn't look into the camera. He's looking off the side.

The in-person interviews, I always think how come he's so articulate in songs but terrible in these interviews? LOL He's finally comfortable and speaking more normally in these Zoom calls.

What's in a name? What's in a name? Suffering and pain
Guts, blood, and tears, aim straight, game face, king's grace

Beautiful Video. We Ultra Black ya'll. Great song for the times. Again very uplifting and the beat has positive vibes. Black Men are still getting 7 Shots to the back while cops play Judge Jury and Executioner....meanwhile White Teenagers can have illegal guns, cross state lines, kill people in front of the cops and go home and sleep it off. You damn right we Ultra Black. NaS has never been shy as showing black pride in his music and also calling out White Supremacy his whole career.

Did you see his interviews when Lost Tape 2 dropped, mainly the one on Tidal and on Drunk Champs, he was the exact way in those interviews.
