I’m a huge Nas fan but If you go to a 2 hour Nas concert in 2023 Hes unlikely to play a single song from Streets Disciple, Life is Good, Untitled, HHID or Nasir because they didn’t generate any hits. He also had no memorable tours in that time. He was out of the public eye almost completely unless you were a Nas fan.
Now he’s back in the spotlight with his Wu tour and big appearances and shows, winning Grammies etc.
How can anyone not understand that this is a huge comeback.

The Distant Relatives tour was right in the middle of all that

Untitled and Hiphop is dead had a spark... Untitled was neutered by radio, record labels and television

you can say he knew that would happen and wanted to stay low key... knowing it would happen
but it did make waves in modern media

The Life Is Good/Black Rage tour with Lauryn Hill was extremely big as was the Illmatic 20th anniversary tour. Up to 2018
he was still performing No Introduction from Life Is Good, Thief’s Theme from Streets Disciple and last year when I saw him and Wu here in Atlanta he performed the first verse and hook of Adam & Eve.

The only album he doesn’t perform any songs from is Untitled

That Killer Mike paragraph lost me.

Don't talk about a great like Nas and bring up a nobody like Killer Mike. That's like talking about Jordan and giving a mention to Kendall Gill.
Killers Mike's Mike is better than all of Nas's recent albums
