don't put words in my mouth. I never said ANYONE had to explain their whole life. Nas already projected this aspect of his jlife and so ghe deserves this ridicule. He's a fukk boy

What are you even talking about? I never said you said that, I'M saying that he doesn't. Nas doesn't owe you an explanation for everything he does, he can do what he wants, you either rock with him or not, if you don't then cool whatever. Lol, whatever, feel how you feel, I don't give a fukk. But I don't have no hate towards Nas personally, I'm a fan and I like his music a lot, I don't agree with everything he says but he's still a great artist, you feel different cool, live your life, The World Is Yours lol.

I didnt say everything. He made it a point to point out his beliefs on that type of shyt,on a huge platform at the time (mtv). Then as a older, presumably more mature with better morals having man,he signs up to do it.
Nas is a sucka, and you're so much of a fan that it would hurt you to look at him in that fashion. I think he's a dope rapper but I know he's not a real nikka.

I didn't say you did, but on that point is a part of everything, you or no-one else gets to define what he has to share and what he doesn't. Ok I see where you're coming from, truth is we don't know why, if you want to dislike him for that cool, personally I don't cause I don't think that's the worst thing in the world. That last bit doesn't make sense when I told you I was critical of his bars on Jeremiah Wright, add on to that the whole trying to holla at Mega's girl thing, so it's nothing to do with that, I just don't have beef on this particular issue. Ok cool, I'm not trying to change your mind, just saying my own personal views.

Nas has a long history of being a sucka. Feel how you feel. Fact of the matter is that he's a blatant hypocrite

Nas pretended to take a moral stand against doing beer commercials only to later become a pitch man for Hennessey.
What is your evidence that at the time the MTV special was filmed, Nas was "pretending" to take a moral stand?
A person can change their mind from one minute to the next.
This is true. But someone changing their mind in the matter of 60 seconds is different from someone changing their mind after a decade.
Have you never changed your mind about anything?
That's why you've run in here trying to deflect on some "who cares?" shyt. If you don't care then shut the fukk up.
I love it when people say "run in" :mjlol:
Not to speak for @Monoblock - but I find it funny that you and @bigbadbossup2012 are so incensed about this. I don't care that Nas is doing advertising for Henny - but I do find it interesting that certain people (such as yourself) care so much about it.
If you know the dumb shyt that you're saying in defense of Nas doesn't make sense then what's your point of posting it?
Because you are taking an incredibly simplistic view of the issue - I think its much more nuanced and interesting.
Why do you keep saying "nobody gives a shyt" as you continue to post dumb shyt in his defense?
Because nobody gives a shyt. And what have I even posted in his defense? Quote it for me...:francis:
You do care, that's why you keep posting.
No. I don't care that in 2015 Nas is doing advertising for Henny in spite of turning down a beer commercial in 2002 b/c of concerns about "youngsters". I keep posting b/c you are fuming mad about it for some reason :mjlol:
Oh and

Hypocrite: person who claims or pretends to have certain beliefs about what is right but who behaves in a way that disagrees with those beliefshttp://i.word.com/idictionary/hypocrite

Nas pretended to take a moral stand against doing beer commercials only to later become a pitch man for Hennessey. That "he changed his mind" bullshyt doesn't discount his hypocrisy. A person can change their mind from one minute to the next.

I'm convinced that you cats will argue anything instead of being wrong. shyt is corny. You literally just made up your own definition of hypocrite to try and keep from being wrong:scusthov:

And instead of going ahead and taking your mini-L on the word because your broader point has merit, you'd rather argue about the definition of word you got wrong. Then you look up the word and completely ignored the tense of the words in it lol. According to your logic, if a person says it's cold outside, they're not ever allowed to say it's hot outside ever again or they're a hypocrite. Take an English class.

If Nas was a hypocrite, he'd have said he was against the Coors ad and then did the Coors ad anyway. That's a hypocrite. Get it?

He said Coors wasn't what he was about. And he turned them down. Understand?

Hypocrites do the opposite of what they say while they're saying it. He said it and showed it.

This is a separate item. This is years later.

He changed his stance and his actions. You're calling him a sellout for switching up for the money. So go ahead and say that then.

it's a 10 year gap.... people grow, perspectives change

What's the point of sticking to an archaic belief if it doesn't suit your current/future situation ?
So since he now pushes liquor in his 40's and ran to defjam (a label he shytted on) for money i guess we should not judge him

Yes you really shouldn't.......

If you aren't Nas then how can you understand his motivations for doing that ?

There's a thing called neuroplasticity....do some research on it :pharrell:

If that doesn't satisfy you and it really bugs you.......... then reach out to him

Nobody is that hard reach except the political elite....ask him and he might just tell you
