In RD he was real and himself.

After that he jumped on Biggies nuts and went full on republican.

Jay is and always has been a capitalist. I myself don't want to play that game, but as much as nikkas like to call him "c00n" they really should be paying attention to what he's doing, and how he's doing it if unless they are on some back to Africa shyt. If you're saying in America, and want to amass power and money Jay Z has given you some keys on winning at least half the battle just by being himself.

You can't pop all this "we need economic freedom" shyt and then throw the baby out with the bathwater when it comes to Jay Z getting his just because he's not keeping his business partners black or anti-cooperate in mindset. nikkas are so quick to trash another man just because they WOULD do some things different with his position that they fail to key in on the positive aspects that could help put them in a similar position to tweak where to go from there.

Think laterally, brehs.

So you agree that he is making moves that align with the republican way?

Cool.

Define "republican way" though. You've been throwing out these vague terms and notions that Jay is doing something foul post RD and somehow stopped being himself, like you really know that nikka...especially seeing how his content hasn't changed much.

Expand on that...is there a democrat way to be a rapper? :heh: What songs specifically are republican raps? Minus the one that actually has the world in the title.

Republican :heh:

Jay publically endorsed a Democrat candidate in Obama while shytting on Bush. He gave a 50k bonus to all his employees big or small. He's probably the only rapper to publically speak out on the subject of the shrinking of the American middle class. If anything he's a pro business Democrat- like say Cory Booker. Stop using party affiliations where they don't apply.

Bro, I've reached the point where I'm just using this shyt as entertainment outside of posting articles. It's just :laff:. If you take this shyt too literally it will start to morph your perception of the real world.

EVER SINCE NAS SOLD HIS SOUL TO DEF JAM

AND HAS BEEN EXPLOITED FINANCIALLY BY EVERY BYATCH THAT CROSS HIS PATH (CARMEN..KELIS)

He is now officially a CORPORATE PUPPET

When a man see his finances being comprimised he will sacrifice his principles and values

So I'm not surprised he is supporting this MARKETING SCHEME

it ain't even a RACE ISSUE it's about CLASS :manny:

THANK U STEVE STOUTE FOR DESTROYING MY FAVORITE MCEE :to:

*CORRECTION

when, a sellout has his finances compromised.
HE WILL SELL out his principles and values.
ain't no man, in a nikka with no principles and values.

So we gonna act like republican and democrat is the only ones out there and there isnt an independent stance :sas2:

Asking me about democrat when independant is clearly the best one out there. :sas1:

So please ask me what is the independent way to be a rapper.

So we gonna pretend that bragging about ones riches, ones personal success, comparing themselves to the less fortunate and how its nice to be in the upper class isnt a trait of most republicans? :dead:

This is such a dumb thread.
Dude out here investing in getting jobs for black people in the techworld, scholarships in Harvard and yet he's considered a sellout cause he said he met Iggy and didnt diss her :rudy:

:pachaha: Y'all was getting desperate out there and ran with this one
You should've led with this. You would have swayed the general opinion of the thread much quicker if you pointed this out first.

People are really in here outraged at Nas for promoting "garbage? This is the same forum that posts Iggy threads daily and seem to know about her background, significantly a lot about her background for those who claim she makes wack music. If it's wack, who cares about an accent, where she's from, and who's co-signing her. Wack is wack. The good thing about wack music is that it's avoidable.

It seems like The Coli is promoting this :trash: except they aren't getting $$$ or any kind of benefits from it that I can see. I guess it's therapeutic to release all of those negative emotions about wack artists on a forum. As said before, she's easily avoidable especially in an age where there's so many other options besides listening to mainstream radio. It's like posters Google Iggy or they receive updates every time an article regarding Iggy is available. Even more pathetic is how :pacspit: at Iggy is disguised as taking a stance for Hip Hop. Like the same people :pacspit: at her weren't saying "she ain't Hip Hop", but still take issue with her. I'm sure The Coli is going to work overtime promoting Iggy's wack music and disguising it as "outrage" all the while calling every rapper who supports a c00n or a cac. How hypocritical.
