I Gave You Power is one of Nas best songs. The older i get the more i like nas, its weird. Ive listened to Nas more in the last 5 years the I have the previous 20

same here, always loved Nas but I appreciate him more now than I did in the 90’s

I’m just mad we never saw these 2 collab before Pac’s death, imagine a ‘96 track with them in their prime?

Breh:wow:...the one thing that makes Nas storytelling tracks so compelling is the fact that he breaks it down for you. I Gave You Power got this aura to the track where you got to follow the shyt word by word to understand the impact of the overall track. Me and My Girlfriend is cool but suffers from the "OBVIOUS" appeal. If you didn't know he was talking about his gun after every wink wink nudge nudge, just listen to Jazz or some shyt:scust:
