Hook n beat are trash juiceOne of the WOAT hooks.
“Nas is like” is one of my favorite songs of all time. I loved the first half of the album but a big chunk of the last half felt empty (not the entire thing). After a strong beginning it starts to feel like a bunch of songs thrown together, and I’ve never been a fan of that. I think it was a solid album but disappointing since the. First time I heard it, until now. It’s not as easy to listen straight through, and why listen to an album if I don’t feel it from front to back through. I can just grab the songs I like and throw them on a playlist. Same as “nastradamus”
I Am fell off after "You Won't See Me Tonight" and didn't pick up again until "Nas Is Like" (which is classic). Thankfully, it ends on a high note with "Undying Love". The first 8 songs had I Am sounding like a 4.5/5 then by track 9, it's like what happened.
It was his best chick oriented track not named Oochie Wally or You Owe me until the Life Is Good eraI usually dismantle this album and listen to the leaks incorporated. I do have to say though, K-I-SS-I-N-G is slept on.![]()
Who hates I AM? Nas Is Like alone makes that a 5 Mic album.
