Classic album. I kinda wish he saved NY State of Mind 2 and Still We Will Survive for Stillmatic just to fit the theme of that album. Would have taken that already classic to a new level.
So are you talking about Stillmatic with Braveheart Party :mjlol:

Legendary tracks:

Nas Is Like

Great tracks:

NY State of Mind Pt. 2
Undying Love
Favor for a Favor

Good tracks:

Small World
Hate Me Now
We Will Survive
Ghetto Prisoners

Bad tracks:

Big Things
I Want to Talk to You
KISSING

WTF Nasir tracks:

Dr. Knockboot
Money is My bytch
You Wont See Me Tonight

i could see why sappy nikkas would like KISSING but outside that:yeshrug: 3/5 for me

Easily his 2nd worst produced album behind Nastrashamus:hhh:

just another rap album with way too many tracks and just gutter trash filler u wonder how the fukk it got on an album of Nas caliber. It started out strong and was going good until Ghetto Prisoners ended and it started maybe the worst 5 track stretch of Nas career:hhh: 1/3 of this album being for the birds with bad club tracks, r&b hooks and dumbass sex rhymes and some sloppy Nas rhyming since that aint his lane:scust:

if it was

Album Intro
NY State of Mind pt 2
Hate Me Now
Small World
Favor for a Favor
We Will Survive
Ghetto Prisoners
Nas Is Like
Undying Love

itd be a solid 4 from me
Yeah those Timbaland produced tracks were forced as hell

It was one Timbaland produced track. “You Wont See Me Tonight”. In which everyone was bumpin at the time. If ANYONE else made that track noone would ever shyt on it.

Preach. I'm convinced a lot of Nas fans do not know what they want from a Nas album. I see people saying Ross should executive produce a Nas album. "Echo" remix by Bink! sounded exactly like something Ross would rap over and people talking about they preferred the version without drums. I like both versions, but at this point, I'm convinced people will knock anything Nas raps over that sounds too polished or bouncy or both. If he raps over boom bap production, they complain it's too dusty and sounds dated, but will still beg for a DJ Premier produced album.

He might be confusing Big Things as a Timbo track, because it does sound like a "nikka What/nikka Who" knockoff.
I think I'm one of 12 people that always liked that song, I can recite the whole thing:pachaha:

I think I Am is cool, and has arguably the best combo of intro and outro tracks in Nas discography. :lawd:

No I know Big Things was not a Timbo track, but it was a better record than the songs Timbo produced

That song was garbage, Timbaland gave an A caliber lyricist throwaway beats.

It got 4.5 Mics originally in the source. One of Nas most creative and risk taking albums.

As a third studio album I’ll put it over Kendrick’s third DAMN.
What's creative or risk taking about the retail version.
