Maybe Nas knew what Shyheim was really like off the set,and didn't want to bring that to the set. Im sure you have people in your family you wouldn't hire to be apart of your business.
And what u dont know was...shyheim was in a car with a woman before and her man pulled a gun on shyheim as he sat in the car...bytch jumped out to stop her man from killing shy, he panicked and drove off and hit a man who was on his way to work on a bike...
The DA were gonna give him 1 to 3 if the woman would have backed up his story. She didnt cause then her man wouldve been held liable as well.
Did shy turn himself in, yes. Does he regret that day, yes. The bytch never told him she had a man.

Everyone that worked with Shy in the industry said the same things. Belly was 97-98, prior ever getting in trouble. He was still getting movie roles and working then. He definitely seemed to maintain healthy business relationships.
