Kishi just using bad writing as usual coupled with fan service in these god awful chapters. Now he has to explain why Sasuke always retained the snake contract despite gaining hawks summons since apparently you can have two. He could've at least made the snake summon a Cobra, not a goddamn garden variety ass snake. Unless Oro being with him has something do with...maybe he reabsorbed

It was assumption. It was never stated in the manga that Sasuke's contract was nullified after getting Manda killed. So there is no need to for Kishi to explain that.

I understand that but it wasn't because Manda was dead, it was because he had made an entirely new contract with another animal. Nowhere in the series has anyone even been hinted at with being able to have multiple animal summonings. Except for the Rikudo.
Again its likely he reabsorbed Oro for the power boost to hang...that or he is using Orochimaru's blood to do the summon like Kabuto did maybe? Honestly, Kishi has destroyed Sasuke's development this last arc with bad writing (among a lot of other people) but I don't really care about the snake summon so long as he still has his hawks.
