Well Sasuke and Naruto are the only ones who really fit that mold.

The rest of their class though was regarded as being the most talented young ninja they'd seen for a few generations. Keep in mind the 4th was the youngest Hokage in history and he was older than any of Naruto's crew.

I like these characters too, but this is 5 issues too late IMO. They should have done this shyt well before the Hokages came back. This issue interrupted the flow of the arc.
